Belfast-based architect with experience in design, technical detail and building performance
I’m Marcin Piotrowicz, a RIBA Chartered and ARB registered architect. I am seeking an employed architectural role, bringing experience from architectural practice and more than twelve years running my own practice.
My practice ceased trading on 9 September 2026. This website is retained as my professional portfolio.
My full name is Marcin Witold Piotrowicz. You’re welcome to call me Vito — a shorter name taken from my middle name, Witold.
Over more than 20 years in architecture, I’ve worked across design, planning, technical detailing, approvals and construction-stage problem solving. My approach combines spatial design with practical building knowledge and attention to how buildings are constructed and perform. Much of my experience over the past 15 years has focused on individual homes in Northern Ireland.
My work includes technical and performance coordination, alongside client changes, on Long House / The Gallery following planning approval. The completed house won BBC Northern Ireland’s House of the Year 2025.
